China Telecom Q1 profit down 9 percent
HONG KONG, April 28 (Reuters) – China Telecom , the smallest of China’s three wireless carriers, reported a 9 percent fall in quarterly profit, in line with expectations, as the company spent aggressively to attract subscribers to its year-old 3G service.
