China mobile phone user base increases to nearly 687 million in May 2009 (Digi Times)
There were 686.95 million subscribers of mobile communication services in China as of the end of May 2009, growing by 1.20% on month and by 16.01% on year, according to statistics published by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
